Sidney Tavern 2027 Wine Dinner Series

SIDNEY Tavern Wine Dinner Series

Chef Neil Annis, a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, built a long and accomplished culinary career before opening SIDNEY Tavern. His cooking is grounded in classical technique, seasonality, and a deep respect for ingredients — the foundation of the kitchen he leads today with his talented culinary team.

After Neil and Sarah married in early 2013, Sarah’s curiosity and love of wine sparked what would become SIDNEY Tavern’s monthly wine dinners. She studied Neil’s CIA wine books, bought her own, met with purveyors, and kept meticulous notes on every wine she tasted, slowly building a thoughtful portfolio of regions and producers. By 2015, her research and passion evolved into the wine dinner series guests enjoy today — evenings where Neil’s food and Sarah’s hospitality come together to create a travel‑through‑terroir experience right here in South‑Central Pennsylvania.

At SIDNEY Tavern, these dinners are a celebration of terroir, seasonality, and the craft of pairing food and wine with intention. Each month, we explore a different region of the world, choosing wines that speak with clarity and character, then building menus that honor the traditions and landscapes behind them. Every dinner is designed to feel intimate, thoughtful, and rooted in the belief that hospitality is at its best when it tells a story.

Together, Chef Neil and Sarah invite you to join them for a season of discovery, craftsmanship, and connection.
